Our global supply chains depend on developing Asia. First to escape from the pandemic, China’s domestic economy is picking up. With much manufacturing production in Europe and the United States likely to be closed until May, plants in China are beginning to plug the gap. And Chinese companies and banks did not experience the severe dollar squeeze that many had feared.
