Montreux Partners and EM settle; four creditors yet to agree on removing injunction

Argentina starting to repay debt with deal stuck with two creditors

Two of the creditors involved in Argentina's debt saga have settled after the Latin American government submitted a proposal to the US federal court in New York on February 5.

Montreux Partners and EM will be paid $298.7 million and $849.2 million respectively, court documents filed by Michael Paskin, representing Argentina, explained.

Earlier in the month, Thomas Griesa – the US judge overseeing the litigation between Argentina and six bondholders – had ordered the creditors to establish why
