Inflation at six-year high sparks rate hike in Colombia

The Central Bank of Colombia may have to hike its policy rate again, according to one analyst, as it grapples with rising prices and inflation expectations.

On September 25, the central bank increased its key rate by 25 basis points to 4.75%, after a greater-than-expected increase in annual CPI inflation, which rose to 4.74% in August.
