The Ghanaian government's decision last week to fly $3 million in cash to Brazil to pay the bonuses of national footballers playing in the World Cup has raised questions about the Bank of Ghana's (BoG) involvement amid the strict foreign exchange controls imposed on residents by the bank in February.
