Polish governor accuses opposition of plotting violence against him

Glapiński says Tusk could use “a mob” to remove him and says opposition has broken law

Poland’s central bank governor Adam Glapiński has accused the main opposition leader, Donald Tusk, of being ready to use violence to remove him from office.

Glapiński said Tusk “has evolved as far as to think about overthrowing by force the legally elected bodies appointed for a specific term of office”. The National Bank of Poland sent Central Banking an English translation of the governor’s interview with media outlet Niezalezna.
