How did you become governor of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina?

I was approached by the International Monetary Fund where I had been working for about three months. Somebody came into my office and asked me if I was interested in being governor of a central bank. If you’ve been deputy governor, you’re always interested in being governor. Then he said: “It’s Bosnia”. And I said: “I might have to think about that”.
