Lebanon’s president has accused the country’s central bank of deliberately obstructing the independent forensic audit that foreign donors have made a condition of providing aid.

Media reports say central bank staff have refused to share data, while parliament has refused to extend a measure lifting banking secrecy laws. A Lebanese judge said she had issued a summons to the central bank governor after he failed to attend three interviews over alleged financial crimes.
