ESRB calls for European cyber incident framework

Regulators must have joint response to systemic cyber incidents

Europe’s financial regulators should create a framework to deal with systemic cyber incidents, the European Systemic Risk Board recommended on January 27.

The organisation’s proposed pan-European systemic cyber incident co-ordination framework, or EU-SCICF, would seek to co-ordinate the efforts of European Union authorities and other international bodies.
