Sudan’s post-revolutionary government has dismissed the board of the country’s central bank, along with the boards of 11 state-owned lenders, locally-based reporters said.

A government committee for “anti-corruption and funds recovery” took the decision to fire the boards, Reuters reported on February 6. A transitional government has ruled Sudan after street protests led to a military coup that ousted Islamist president Omar al-Bashir in April last year.
