Bank of Lithuania improves data accessibility in new website

Redesign offers videos and infographics to explain key policies; audience has increased by 10%

The Bank of Lithuania has improved accessibility to statistics on its website and added audio-visual features to explain key tasks. The upgrade has contributed to a 10% increase in the number of visitors since its implementation in 2017.

These achievements were recognised by Central Banking with the website of the year award. The head of the communications department at the central bank, Giedrius Simonavičius, explained the key goals of the changes in an interview on March 1 in London.
