ECB will ‘accelerate efforts’ to tackle staff concerns after second survey

14% of respondents report “inappropriate words or behaviour in past year”

The European Central Bank’s chief services officer said on April 12 that the bank will “accelerate our efforts to address all staff concerns”, after the results of its second survey of its staff.

Michael Diemer says in an official statement that the bank is nonetheless “encouraged by the progress we made since the last survey in 2015”. Diemer became the ECB’s first chief services officer when he was appointed in October 2015.
