I found this a fascinating but annoying book. Its author has worked at the Fed (as an adviser to Richard Fisher of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas), as well as a financial columnist for The Dallas Morning News. The former job has undoubtedly given her information and an understanding of US Federal Reserve policymaking – and it has also led to her feeling astonishment
