Cyber security firm finds Swift users are being attacked by a second hacking group

Symantec research finds Odinaff malware is penetrating Swift’s users’ systems

Research conducted by a leading cyber security software provider has found users of global payment messaging service Swift are once again at risk from cyber attacks, uncovering evidence that a second hacking group was planting malicious software into Swift clients' systems.

In a blog post published today (October 12), Symantec Corporation reveals that since January 2016, discrete campaigns involving malware called Trojan.Odinaff have targeted a number of financial organisations worldwide.
