Governor Ilan Goldfajn moved to shake up the senior leadership team at the Central Bank of Brazil (BCB) on his first day in office – nominating four new deputy governors on June 13.

The nominees come from mixed backgrounds, with two in academia, one in the private sector and another already working at the central bank.
