Bank of England launches redesigned financial stability report

Shorter, sharper report aims to better convey risk outlook

The Bank of England (BoE) today (July 1) unveiled a redesigned financial stability report, which aims to provide greater clarity on the main risks facing the UK economy.

The redesign has been a priority for Alex Brazier, executive director for financial stability strategy and risk, since his promotion to the role earlier this year. He told the Treasury Select Committee at his appointment hearing in March there was room for improvement in the report.
