Minutes show 'strained' relationships and catalogue of errors

The minutes from meetings of the Bank of England's (BoE) Court during the global financial crisis shed light on the body's difficult relationship with the rest of the central bank, as well as the efforts of ill-equipped regulators grappling with the rapid decline of global financial markets.

Published today as part of the BoE's broader transparency drive, the minutes span the length of the financial crisis, from June 2007 to May 2009.
