Peruvian Congress approves central bank board members after two-year delay

Peru's Congress yesterday approved three new members to the central bank's board of directors after putting the appointments on hold for more than two years.

Eduardo Francisco Gonzalez, Drago Kisic and Gustavo Yamada will be sworn in by the president of the Peruvian supreme court on Wednesday, Central Bank of Peru's general secretary Dehera Bruce said. Meanwhile, Alfonso Lopez Chau, who has been on the board since 2006, is stepping down.
