ECB seeks head lawyer who is ‘resilient to overwork’

An employment law expert has warned that the European Central Bank (ECB) risks infringing worker's rights by stipulating that the head of its legal services must be "resilient to overwork".

The ECB is hunting for a new director-general for legal services, one of the best-paid jobs at the central bank with a starting salary of at least €194,916 ($269,000). The vacancy for the post says the successful candidate is expected to be "resilient to fatigue and overwork".
