Vitas Vasiliauskas has held the post as chairman of the board of the Bank of Lithuania since April 16, 2011. He joined the Lithuanian central bank after previously working as a lawyer at Baltics business law firm Lawin Lideika, Petrauskas, Valiunas ir partneriai for seven years, where he specialised in financial law.
