Reappointments in Egypt and Palestine; Fed picks chief information officer; and more
Egypt: Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) governor Tarek Amer is in line for a second term, after he was nominated by president Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi on November 25.
State news service Al Ahram said the Egyptian parliament would vote on whether to confirm Amer for a second term on November 28. If confirmed, the governor will serve a further four years and will not be eligible for reappointment again.
