Bank of Tanzania - Annual Report 2004-05

According to the Bank of Tanzania's Annual Report 2004-05, the economy registered a robust growth rate of 6.7 percent in 2004.

This marked an improvement from 5.7 percent growth rate registered in 2003 and partly reflecting the outcomes of continued efforts by the government to create conducive environment for economic expansion. Following this performance, per capita GDP grew by 3.8 percent compared to 2.8 percent in 2003.
