Queen's portraits from banknotes and coins to appear on stamps

The UK postal service, the Royal Mail, on February 6 announced that a new sheet of first class stamps had been issued featuring images of the Queen throughout her 60-year reign.

The Diamond Jubilee Miniature Sheet includes portraits of the Queen taken from Bank of England banknotes and coins. This is the first time official portraits of the Queen as she appears on stamps, coins and banknotes, have been brought together.
