Court rejects Bank of Israel's petition

The Bank of Israel suffered a setback on Sunday 1 February when the High Court of Justice refused to block treasury intervention in the central bank's wages policy.

The Court rejected the Bank of Israel's petition for an interim injunction to stop Finance Ministry wages director Yuval Rachlevsky intervening in the setting of salaries at the bank.
