China confirms Wu Xiaoling as forex chief

China announced the appointment of Wu Xiaoling as director general of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE). Wu had been acting head of the foreign exchange policy body since May, when Li Fuxiang died from a fall from a hospital building.
