BOJ head sees few reasons for further dollar fall

JAPAN - Bank of Japan Governor Masaru Hayami said on Friday that the dollar, whose weakness against the yen has alarmed Japanese authorities, did not have much reason to fall further.

"I get the impression that there are not many reasons for the dollar to fall further. We will continue to watch moves in the foreign exchange market carefully," Hayami told a news conference, adding that the U.S. economy was still on the path to recovery.
