PBOC to guard against inflation

China's central bank's stance will remain focused on preventing major fluctuations in the country's economy and keeping prices "from growing to quickly", the official Financial News reported.

Zhou Xiaochuan, governor of the People's Bank of China (PBoC), was quoted as saying the central bank will further enhance financial macro-controls during the remainder of the year and help financial institutions step up adjustments to their credit structure.
