Banks resolved in almost half of jurisdictions surveyed

Jurisdictions with more bank resolutions had higher NPL levels, benchmark exercise finds

Just under half of the central banks that responded to our Financial Stability Benchmarks said banks had been placed in resolution in their country. Almost all of them had a deposit guarantee scheme, but only one central bank actually administered the fund.
