Resolution colleges must update resilience plans – EBA

EU’s resolution colleges should review whether their plans are “credible and feasible”, report says

The European Union’s resolution colleges spent last year concentrating on cross-border arrangements for dealing with failing banks, the European Banking Authority says.

While the report found that colleges’ joint decision-making arrangements had “generally functioned well”, the EBA says more work is needed in several areas, particularly in light of the Covid-19 pandemic.
