Slovenian central bank reports good stress test results

Central bank has had long-running dispute with government over bank bail-ins

Slovenia’s central bank said its recently concluded stress tests showed the country’s banking sector is stable.

The Bank of Slovenia said it had used two scenarios in its stress tests, which both outlined possible events from the beginning of 2019 to the end of 2021. The baseline scenario was based on the central bank’s projections for Slovenia, while the adverse scenario envisaged a 2.3% fall in GDP over three years.
