Central Bank of Ireland still reshaping to meet regulatory demands
Governor Patrick Honohan today said plans are in motion for the Central Bank of Ireland's organisational structure to be "thoroughly overhauled" as part of efforts to improve banking supervision.
Delivering an introductory statement at the Oireachtas (Irish parliament) Banking Inquiry, Honohan stressed the many improvements that have been made to Irish financial regulation and supervision since 2009.
