Thailand's economic woes may have bottomed out, according to central bank governor Prasarn Trairatvorakul, who called for private business and the financial sector to work together and tackle the country's structural challenges in a speech last night.

Thailand's growth rate has fallen in the past six months on account of a drop in domestic spending, something Trairatvorakul attributes to the "uncertainty" about the country's political situation.
