Prasarn Trairatvorakul

Prasarn Trairatvorakul, governor of the Bank of Thailand, said in a speech this morning that indecision in the markets and the Federal Reserve over when the Fed will begin to scale back its asset purchases could "continue to disrupt the process of global rebalancing for a while".

While "taking away the punch bowl has always been a tricky task for central bankers", Prasarn said, "the impact has never been more global, given today's interconnected global financial market."
