Fed's Hoenig on recent economic developments
US economic conditions will improve in the coming months, said an optimistic Tom Hoenig, CEO of the Kansas City Fed.
After going through a "difficult period over the past year", there should be a notable pick-up in economic growth and Hoenig was hopeful that inflation would be lower.
However this pleasant scenario was not without risks. Should housing slump to a greater extent or for a longer period than people think now, spending stay weak or investment fail to shake off its sluggishness
