Dallas Fed paper on SNB crisis measures

A Dallas Federal Reserve paper published on Tuesday examines the provision of Swiss franc liquidity by the Swiss National Bank (SNB) to banks domiciled outside Switzerland during the recent financial crisis.

Sébastien Kraenzlin and Raphael Auer, the paper's authors, document the extent of the Swiss franc liquidity provisions made available to banks and describe the means by which it was provided.

Kraenzlin and Auer note that what made the Swiss case special was the size of this liquidity
