Bank of Estonia – Financial Stability Review 2/2009

Risks to financial stability in Estonia had decreased compared to the spring of last year, according to the second instalment of the central bank's biannual Financial Stability Review, published in December.

The review noted that risks to financing the economy have diminished slightly and the quality of loans had been better than anticipated. However, the report also said that the income level of households and enterprises would remain low, meaning that borrowers' ability to service their debt
