Draghi supports publishing ‘account’ of monetary policy deliberations

Mario Draghi believes the European Central Bank (ECB) should publish a "more complete account" of the governing council's deliberations, he revealed today, but it remains to be seen whether he has the support of his fellow eurozone policy-makers.

The ECB is one of the few major central banks not to publish minutes – an issue that has proved contentious ever since it was established in June 1998, particularly with the European Parliament.

This may not be the case for much longer. The ECB issued
