New dawn of cooperation in Cyprus

Following the reshuffling of the cabinet in Cyprus earlier this month, the new finance minister is set to engage closely with the Central Bank of Cyprus' governor as the country struggles with economic turmoil.

Following a meeting between the new minister of finance, Kikis Kazamias, and the governor of the central bank, Athanasios Orphanides, on Wednesday evening, the governor said he was "optimistic that with the right actions and efforts by all we will pull through this".
