Ukraine's central bank faces auditors
Accusations of mismanagement and corruption at the National Bank of Ukraine are to be investigated by international auditors, according to an official at the central bank.
The country's premier, Yulia Tymoshenko, has accused National Bank chief Volodymyr Stelmakh of suspect currency and lending procedures, which she argues, caused the collapse of the Ukrainian currency, the hryvna.
The currency has lost some 38% of its value against the dollar since September 2008. The premier alleged that
