Recruiting and retaining fintech talent continues to be the top technology challenge for many central banks. 

Central Banking asked respondents to the Fintech Benchmarks 2022 to rate technology challenges in terms of severity from the highest (1) to the lowest (5) and calculated the average score. Recruiting and retaining top talent was identified as the biggest technology challenge facing central banks (2.43), among 30 respondents to this part of the benchmarks.
