MAS deputy highlights Singapore's growing links with the Middle East

Lim Hng Kiang, deputy chairman of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), today emphasised the growing links between Singapore and the Middle East in the realm of Islamic finance.

In remarks to the 4th World Islamic Banking Conference, Lim said the relationship between the two regions now extended beyond energy, which still accounts for a substantial proportion of trade.
