BoJ’s Kamezaki predicts weaker outlook for growth

Hidetoshi Kamezaki, a member of the Policy Board at the Bank of Japan, on 28 July said factors driving economic growth in Japan are likely to weaken in the future.

Kamezaki said Japan's economy had been supported by two major engines of growth: the improvement in overseas economic conditions and the government's stimulus measures for environment-friendly products. However, the effects of the two factors were likely to weaken.
