It is "quite possible" the conditions laid out by Federal Reserve policy-makers for raising interest rates "could soon be satisfied", William Dudley, the New York Fed president, said on November 12.

Dudley was one of four Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) members to deliver speeches yesterday, alongside Chicago and Richmond Fed presidents Charles Evans and Jeffrey Lacker, and Fed vice-chair Stanley Fischer. Each has a vote in the December 15-16 meeting.
