Central Bank of Brazil celebrates Olympics handover with new coins

Brazil on August 13 marked the arrival of the Olympic flag in the country with the release of two commemorative coins, the Central Bank of Brazil has announced.

The central bank revealed on August 1 that it had signed a deal with the Casa da Moeda (the Brazilian Mint) and the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games Organising Committee to produce the currency.
