Bank of Greece governor to reduce salary by a fifth
The Bank of Greece confirmed on Friday that George Provopoulos, its governor, is set to take a 20% pay cut.
Odysseas Christoforou, the head of the Bank of Greece's press department told CentralBanking.com that the wage cut would also apply to Eleni Dendrinou Louri and Ioannis Papadakis, the central bank's two deputy governors, and the other three members of its monetary council.
