People: Finland sets out new board responsibilities

Olli Rehn will oversee a major digitalisation project for the Bank of Finland as part of his new responsibilities

Finland: The Bank of Finland announced a new allocation of responsibilities among its board members today (February 1), as two new board members took up their places.

Olli Rehn and Marja Nykänen were appointed to the board in October 2016 by the parliamentary committee overseeing the central bank. They will sit alongside governor Erkki Liikanen and deputy governor Seppo Honkapohja.

The central bank's board, which normally functions with three members, will have four members on a temporary basis,
