Bank Indonesia prepares payment systems for Eid
Bank Indonesia on July 23 announced preparations were well under way to ensure the payment systems in the country were ready for celebrations linked to the Eid festival when traditional cash gifts are given.
The central bank said a number of measures had been taken to ensure requirements for cash were met, "including optimising the availability and distribution of cash at Bank Indonesia's head office as well as domestic representative offices," said a statement posted on the institution's
