Lagarde expresses concerns ahead of crucial meeting with Hungary
Christine Lagarde, the managing director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), has expressed concern with the state of the Hungarian economy, ahead of an important meeting with Hungarian officials in Washington.
In an interview with CNN on January 6, Lagarde said: "We are obviously very concerned that whatever Hungarian legislation is voted by the Hungarian authorities is in compliance with the European requirements."
