Venezuela set to publicise new currency

The Venezuelan Central Bank will launch a nationwide campaign to familiarise consumers with its new notes and coins, which will come into circulation at the start of next year.

Venezuela is set to drop three zeroes from its Bolivar currency, which will be temporarily called Bolivar Fuerte, reverting again to Bolivar once the central bank agrees a transitional period has elapsed.
