Central Bank of Eswatini
Established on 1 April 1974 as Monetary Authority of Swaziland. The Central Bank of Swaziland (Amendment) Act 1982 provided for further extension of bank’s activities. It is banker to the government, bank of issue, banker to commercial banks and deals with reserves management and bank supervision. In 2018 it adopted its present name after the Kingdom of Swaziland became the Kingdom of Eswatini.
