Central Banking FinTech & RegTech Global Awards 2021 virtual ceremony

Winners include the Saudi Central Bank, Central Bank of the UAE, Central Bank of Brazil, and more

Central Banking was joined by representatives of the winners of the FinTech & RegTech Global Awards 2021 to celebrate their achievements during a virtual awards presentation published today (June 16).

The annual FinTech & RegTech Global Awards, now in their fourth year, recognise excellence in the central banking community.

The formal presentation of the awards to governors, as well as to business line heads of central banks and market practitioners, was made by Rachael King, associate editor and chair of the FinTech & RegTech Awards Committee.

The awards trophies, made of sustainable materials, were presented at a virtual ceremony on the third day of Central Banking’s new flagship Central Banking Summer Meetings, which include sections on monetary policy, financial stability, fintech and reserves.

The Summer Meetings are part of an initiative to increase and upgrade Central Banking’s services to the community, and follows the launch of the Central Banking Institute and the Central Banking Benchmarking Service in late 2020.

Many of the award-winners are participating in the Central Banking Summer Meetings.
